Job Description:
Working with the long-term
STLI medical team to provide technical assistance to the national and
regional health reform process with a focus on reforming the former
Soviet public health care system. This includes advising the MOH regarding
regulatory changes for public health policy, developing curriculum
for and teaching training courses in epidemiology, consulting on public
health prevention strategies, and functioning as an integral part of
the broader team of health specialists working on regional health care
reform.

Job Description:

health reform process. You would focus on
helping local nurses to continually upgrade the quality of nursing at model
clinics associated with nation’s new Family Medicine Training
Centers. They might participate with the ongoing development of a
new primary care CME system for nurses in Kyrgyzstan and Central
Asia (including computer-based distance education) and mentor nursing
department faculty members.

Job Description:
Working with
the dental training team (composed of dentists, dental technicians and dental
hygienists from several different countries and organizations) to support
and participate in developing the dental care system in Kyrgyzstan bycontributing
to the clinical training of national trainees, project administration, faculty
development, and relating with the Kyrgyz Ministry of Health and other national
health entities involved in the dental reform process. Accountable
to the Director of the STLI Dental Project.
Position:
Ob/Gyn Physician or Midwife (Kyrgyzstan and/or Tajikistan)
Minimum Skills Required:
Obstetrician or midwife, preferably
with international MCH experience.
Job Description:
Working with
the long-term medical team in Kyrgyzstan or Tajikistan to provide technical
assistance to the national and regional health reform process. This person/people would focus on
helping to implement the WHO program “Safe Motherhood” nationally
in Kyrgyzstan and/or in pilot areas in Tajikistan. They could be involved
in the inpatient component, outpatient component (linked to the primary care
CMEproject), or both.
