We have been very pl
eased with how so many of you have
responded to our mailing last month on the need for raising $87,190. We
have achieved a little over $50,000 of our goal with funds that have been
received and funds that are expected. We are still looking for the remaining
$37,000 to achieve the full goal of printing all 5,000 copies of the book.
This 1700-page, 2 volume book increases the availability of useful nursing literature
to the nursing population of Central Asia,
which will allow for the improvement in the quality of life for people in
Central Asia by improving health care services. With the 5,000 copies that are
needed to be printed, the cost per book is around $17.50.
If you are interested in participating in this exciting opportunity to help
change the quality of life for the people of Kyrgyzstan, send a check
with “Nursing Book” written on it in the enclosed return envelope.
Help us reach the final goal of printing 5,000 copies of the Medical-Surgical Nursing Book!
